Mission Statement

"To Safeguard the heritage of the city of Aberdeen, by preserving, structures and districts that have historical significance. To promote preservation and appreciation of these sites, structures and districts for the education of our community."

The Aberdeen Heritage Trust was created by a Resolution of the Aberdeen City Council on April 3, 1998. Many opportunities exist to advance the vision of historic preservation for Aberdeen. Time is not on our side. Each passing day brings more deterioration to each of these structures. Your support is crucial in order to save these and other irreplaceable reminders of our past. We invite you to join in this vision through membership in the Aberdeen Heritage Trust.
