Manufacturing and Distribution

Aberdeen has become a hub for manufacturing and distribution in the Mid-Atlantic region due to it's location directly off I-95 and access to U.S. Route 40. The Port of Baltimore, one of the most utilized Ports in the United States is only a 30-minute drive from the City, in addition to the 40-minute commute to Baltimore-Washington Thurgood Marshall Airport. Many companies that call Aberdeen their home have seen tremendous growth with access to workforce, training, and available sites.

Highly Skilled Workforce:

Aberdeen draws employees from over five counties in Maryland and two states. The Susquehanna Workforce Network collaberates with Harford Community College to ensure businesses are equipped with the technical workforce they need to thrive.

Harford County Office of Community and Economic Development offers a technical training grant that is highly utilized by the manufacturing and distribution industry to train their workforce both onsite and offsite.

Opportunity Sites:

Aberdeen's newest industrial site, Aberdeen Logisitcs Center is under way with a 500,000 square foot spec-build facility with easy access to U.S. Route 40, Interstate 95, and MD-22. The site also sits in the Greater Aberdeen-Havre de Grace Enterprise Zone.

Approximately 200,000 square-feet distribution center will be available in late 2019 in the I-95 Philadelphia-Washington Corridor.

Cranberry Run Business Park is over 300,000 square feet, multi-tenant flex-industrial space with easy access to U.S. 40 and I-95.
