Public Notification UCMR5

The Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) requires that once every five years EPA issue a list of unregulated contaminants to be monitored by public   water systems (PWSs). The data collected from each system provides the EPA an understanding whether these contaminants in drinking water can impact communities with environmental justice concerns, and allows the agency, states, Tribes, and water systems to target solutions.

The City of Aberdeen conducted its sampling as required under this program. If you are interested in discussing the results, they can be obtained at the attachment below. If you would like further information, please contact  Mr. Curtis Ball at [email protected] or Mr. Jon Ely at [email protected] or  410-272-2650.  You may also obtain information by sending a letter to City Hall – W/WW Superintendent, City of Aberdeen, 60 North Parke St,  Aberdeen, MD, 21001.
