  The City of Aberdeen requests a proposal to provide land planning services to support an annexation petition of properties consisting of approximately 271.59 Acres as shown in Planning Area 11. These services will consist of an annexation plat showing the properties to be annexed, with a metes and bounds description, covering the properties shown on the sketch and all adjoining properties, with a metes and bounds description based on currently available record plats and deed records. This work does not include the requirement for a field survey.

  Specifications and Bid Forms are available electronically by signing up for updates on the City of Aberdeen website at https://www.aberdeenmd.gov/bids. Proposals shall be received (hand delivered or mailed) no later than 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at the 60 North Parke St, Aberdeen, MD, 20110; Attn: Shawn Brogan, Procurement Office. Hard copies of the proposal are to be submitted in a sealed envelope and clearly marked “Aberdeen West Side Annexation Survey”.

  It is anticipated that the award to the selected firm shall be made no later than Monday March 14, 2022. Council reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals until end of business April 12, 2022.
