Request for Expression of Interest - Urban Development
The City of Aberdeen is seeking expressions of interest from individuals or firms interested in the long term (30 year) lease or acquisition of three (3) vacant building lots located at 11, 15, & 19 Franklin Street in Aberdeen. The City is seeking interested parties to acquire or lease the land with the specific intent to develop higher density mixed use (first floor business with second and third floor residential) structures on-site.
The Request for Expressions of Interest specifications are available by subscribing to updates below and clicking submit. Paper specifications are available free of charge at Aberdeen City Hall, Procurement Office, 60 North Parke St., Aberdeen, Maryland, 21001, between the hours of 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM.
A pre-proposal conference will be held on the 2nd Floor Conference Room at Aberdeen City Hall, 60 N. Parke Street, Aberdeen, MD 21001 at 1:00 PM EDT on Wednesday, June 12, 2019. The pre-proposal conference will be the opportunity for interested individuals or firms to raise questions regarding this solicitation. Attendance is non-mandatory to submit a proposal.

Proposals are to be delivered to Aberdeen City Hall no later than Friday, July 12, 2019 by 4:00 PM EDT.
Once submitted, all proposals become the property of the City of Aberdeen, Maryland. The City of Aberdeeen reserves the right to any and all ideas included in the responses without incurring any obligations to the responding individual or firm.
