Krouse Elevated Water Tank Rehabilitation

Note: 'Addendum No. 1 Revision 1' includes changes to the bid form of 'Addendum No. 1' to clarify the required quantity of Item No. 7 and Item No. 8 listed on the bid form.

The City of Aberdeen will receive sealed bids for work to be performed at the Krouse Water Tower. The work shall consist of, but not be limited to, all labor, equipment and materials for the surface preparation and coating of the interior and exterior surfaces, the installation of a mixer, security fence and control cabinet, minor repair, modification and upgrade of metal structures, and all associated work specified in the Contract Documents.

Paper specifications and bid forms are available for a charge of $25 at the City Hall, Department of Public Works on the 2nd Floor, 60 North Parke St., Aberdeen, Maryland, 21001, between the hours of 8:30 am - 5:00 pm.

All bids must be sealed and plainly marked "BID 18-15 KROUSE ELEVATED WATER TANK REHABILITATION " and be delivered to Aberdeen City Hall, 60 North Parke Street, Aberdeen, Maryland 21001, no later than 1:00 PM EDST ON FRIDAY, APRIL 20, 2018.

A pre-bid conference will be held Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at 9:00 am EDST at Aberdeen City Hall, 2nd Floor Conference Room, 60 N. Parke St., Aberdeen, MD 21001, which will be followed by a site visit. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is highly encouraged but is not mandatory.

Bidders are expected to examine the Invitation to Bid, the Specifications and the Bid Form carefully. In case doubt shall arise as to the meaning or intent of anything in the Invitation to Bid, the Specifications or the Bid Form, inquiry should be made to the City Engineer, Taylor Whichard, in writing, at: [email protected], at least two (2) business days before the bid is submitted.
