The Washington-Rochambeau Revolutionary Route March
The March begins at 11:30 a.m. on September 5, 2026.
Aberdeen's all-day celebration includes the Washington-Rochambeau Revolutionary Route March. The March begins at 11:30 a.m. at E. Bel Air Ave. & Old Post Rd. and will process through streets to Festival Park. (See the Route Map below.) This march commemorates Revolutionary War troops moving through the Aberdeen area in 1781-1782. Opening Ceremonies take place in the park after the march, starting at approximately 12:15-12:30 p.m. "Generals Washington & Rochambeau" will be present in the march and at Festival Park.
