The MARC Commuter Rail provides service in Harford County, Baltimore City, Washington D.C., Frederick, and West Virginia. The MARC Train Service operates Monday through Friday.

Facade Improvement Program

The Facade Improvement Program provides a matching grants to property owners and tenants to stimulate improvements and restoration of building frontages for commercial properties located within the Community Legacy Area.

Facade Improvement Grant Information & Application 2026

Greater Aberdeen - Havre de Grace Enterprise Zone

The goal of the Enterprise Zone designated by the Maryland Department of Business & Economic Development is to:

Ensure rentention and spur expansion of resident businesses
Encourage the creation of well-paying new jobs
Promote development and occupancy of vacant, underutilized land and buildings

Eligibility:

A business located within the Enterprise Zone and meets:

Minimum Capital Investment in Construction/Rehabilitation of Real Property

$75,000 (if business has 10 or less employees)

$125,000 (if business has 11 or more employees)

Minimum Full-Time Job Creation:

2 new (if business has 10 or less employees)

5 new (if business has 11 or more employees)
