Procurement Office

The Procurement Unit is responsible for acquiring supplies, equipment, and services to support the various City departments, while doing so in an efficient and economically responsible manner. An open, fair, documented, and competitive process is used based on the City’s Procurement Policy. The unit negotiates for the best products or services in the best combination of quality, price, terms, and service delivery. The purchasing function’s integrity, efficiency, and effectiveness are critical elements of sound government.
