Code Enforcement
The Code Enforcement Department for the City of Aberdeen is responsible for upholding the standards established in the City Charter and Code. Our office works to protect the health, safety, and quality of life of Aberdeen residents.
Code Enforcement investigates complaints, conducts inspections, and works with property owners and residents to achieve voluntary compliance whenever possible. Our goal is to maintain safe, clean, and attractive neighborhoods throughout the community.

Livability Code Complaint Form
Below is the Livability Standards form which establishes minimum property maintenance standards for basic equipment and facilities use for light, ventilation, heating and sanitation for rental housing units and premises and for safe and sanitary maintenance of rental housing units and premises. In accordance with the Code of the City of Aberdeen, Chapter 348 - Livability Standards.
