The City of Aberdeen will receive sealed bids for bituminous concrete street resurfacing; and the removal & replacement of concrete curb & gutter and sidewalk on various streets within the Aberdeen City limits. The contract will be one (1) year with the option to extend in one year increments for an additional two (2) years beyond the initial terms. Option Year 1 (FY20) & Option Year 2 (FY21) are projected to be similar (Approximate Quantities) for that found in the initial contract award.

Paper specifications and bid forms are available for a charge of $25 at the City Office, Department of Public Works on the 2nd Floor, 60 North Parke St., Aberdeen, Maryland, 21001, between the hours of 8:30 am - 5:00 pm. A pre-bid conference will be held at Aberdeen City Hall, 2nd Floor Conference Room on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at 10:00 AM EDT. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is not mandatory.

All bids must be sealed and plainly marked "BID 19-01 STREET RESURFACING" and be delivered to the City Office, 60 North Parke Street, Aberdeen, Maryland 21001, no later than 1:00 PM EDT, THURSDAY, JULY 26, 2018.

No announcement of award, if any, will be made until the bids have been evaluated by the City. Notice-of-Award, if any, will be given to the successful Bidder in writing.

The City of Aberdeen reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to make an award, if any, that in their opinion will best suit the needs of the City of Aberdeen.
