Engineering Division

Mission Statement 

The Engineering Division’s mission is to provide the City with technical expertise for managing the City’s infrastructure from concept through construction.  The Division is responsible for preparing plans, specifications, and bid documents for public works projects including roadway pavement rehabilitation, drainage, stormwater, water treatment and waste water treatment infrastructure improvements.  The Division is responsible for reviewing plans and specifications of residential subdivisions and commercial land developments for compliance with City regulation and engineering standards.  The Division provides inspection and construction management services for City projects and inspection services for private development projects.  Administrative duties include the review and processing of all stormwater management, street opening, utility, and other permit applications.
