Main Street Marketing & Design Study

The City of Aberdeen is seeking proposals from qualified consultants to prepare a Marketing and Design Study for Aberdeen’s Main Street Area. Aberdeen was officially designated in March of 2020 as a Maryland Main Street community. The purpose of this study is to create a set of design recommendations that will enhance the Main Street’s appearance as a welcoming place for the community and produce a comprehensive marketing and branding plan that is complementary to the design recommendations.

The Marketing and Design Study will establish guidance for redevelopment and new development, design, and branding opportunities that will facilitate a placed based experience of Aberdeen’s Main Street area. The selected consultant will complete the contracted scope of work within the time allocated under the general direction of the Aberdeen Department of Planning and Community Development.
