PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Earlier this year the City of Aberdeen purchased the building located on 22 Howard Street as an investment opportunity for the city. As part of this investment, the city is requesting proposals to renovate an 3100 +/- square foot shell building. This project is intended to renovate the existing vacant building to allow a future tenant to renovate as they see fit once a lease is reignited. The project consists generally of interior demolition, structural modifications/improvements and limited MEP modifications/upgrades, new roof, and limited cosmetic improvements.

The contractor shall be responsible for obtaining all required permits and inspections applicable to the project.

All bids must be sealed and plainly marked with “22 Howard Street Shell Improvements”, including bidder information, and be delivered to City Hall, 60 N. Parke Street, Aberdeen, Maryland 21001, no later than 1:00 PM (EST), 7/26/2024.
