ROBERTS WAY & SHIRLEY DRIVE WATERLINE IMPROVEMENTS

The City of Aberdeen will receive sealed Bids which require a trade Contractor to provide the necessary services to replace 2,375 linear feet of water main, including approximately 20 valves, 2 hydrants, 31 complete water service laterals, 75,000 sqft of asphalt and related work to remove/abandon existing water assets in the vicinity of Roberts Way and Shirley Drive in Aberdeen, Maryland.  The project consists of four (4) sections labeled Exhibits 001-004.  Any inclusion, exclusion or combination of Exhibits awarded to the successful bidder is at the discretion of the City and shall be awarded based on funds available.

Specifications and Bid Forms are available electronically by signing up for updates on the City of Aberdeen website at https://www.aberdeenmd.gov/bids.  A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for Thursday, August 8, 2024 at 1:00 PM (ET) at 60 North Parke Street, Aberdeen, Maryland. Bidders are expected to examine the Invitation to Bid, Specifications, and the Bid Form carefully. In case doubt shall arise as to the meaning or intent of anything in the Invitation to Bid, the Specifications or the Bid Form, inquiry should be made to Shawn Brogan, Procurement Officer, at sbrogan@aberdeenmd.gov, no later than 4:00 PM (EDT) Thursday, August 22, 2024. 

All bids must be sealed and plainly marked “ROBERTS WAY & SHIRLEY DRIVE WATERLINE IMPROVEMENTS" (with bidder information) and be delivered to the City Office, 60 N. Parke St., Aberdeen, Maryland 21001, no later than 1:00 PM, THURSDAY, AUGUST 29, 2024.
